HCFC Retrofit Information
In many systems, it is possible to remove all of the existing HCFC refrigerants and replace with a ‘retrofit’ HFC product. In many of these cases, the retrofit product is a ‘drop in’ replacement that will only need a small number of system changes to be made, such as adjustment to expansion valves and in some cases, oil changes.
